Hear from some of our colleagues

David Akinrogbe,

Lead Process Safety Engineer, Lynemouth Power Station

“I’m surrounded by professional people who work to the highest standards. There has been a steep learning curve, particularly getting to grips with all the regulations in the power industry but I’m enjoying my role. It’s important for me to listen and understand the views of my colleagues, to communicate the need for change very clearly, to provide training when it’s required, and to demonstrate best practice.

EPUKI is providing me with the opportunity to add a new dimension to my career and to contribute to the high safety standards of the business.”

Nicky Hall,

HR Advisor

“My role is very busy and offers a great deal of variety, which means I need to be organised and have good time management skills. Flexibility is key as you can be asked to turn around contracts or reports at short notice. I thrive in this dynamic, high-pressured environment and feel fully supported by my manager and team. We like to keep and reward talented people and we’re a flexible and growing company so there is so much opportunity for the future.”

What to expect during your application

Our application process is designed to be simple and straightforward. Simply submit a CV that highlights your relevant work experience and skills, and what you would bring to the role.

We assess all applications on merit and will respond to your application as quickly as possible. It’s our promise to update all applicants on the outcome of their application, good news or bad, so remember to keep an eye on your emails.

We utilise a range of assessment materials as well as interviews / discussions.  If you are successful in reaching that stage of the process, one of our HR colleagues will guide you through what to expect and provide details of who you’ll be meeting.

An interview with EPUKI can often be described as conversational; we prefer an open and honest two-way discussion. This is an opportunity for us to get to know you and the value you can add to our business, as well as a time for you to ask questions and understand more about working with us.

We look for people who are curious, flexible and collaborative. EPUKI is a great place for people who want a rewarding career that contributes to the UK and Ireland’s low carbon energy journey.
